[09-18-2022] San Diego County, CA – Man Seriously injured in a Hit-and-Run Collision in Oceanside

The person who hit the 28-year-old pedestrian on foot has already been found and arrested, according to the Oceanside Police Department. This happened on Friday, September 30, 2022.

The police found out that the person who hit and ran on North Redondo Drive was Luis Sandoval, who lives in Lake Elsinore. On Friday, they took him into custody.

The 28-year-old man from Riverside County was caught for allegedly running away after the sedan he was driving hit and seriously hurt a man in Oceanside last month.

Sandoval is said to have left the scene after his car, which was going west and hit the victim just east of Martin Street at 6:30 p.m. September 18, 2022

Police said that the victim, whose name has not been made public, was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
