[09-28-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries After Being Struck By Pickup Truck in Apple Valley

A 63-year-old man suffered major injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Monday evening, September 28, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies and Apple Valley Fire Protection District personnel responded at around 7:38 p.m. near Navajo Road and Ottawa Road.

Authorities identified the pedestrian as Louis G. of Apple Valley. Investigators said the victim was crossing Navajo Road when he was struck by a southbound Ford F-250 driven by 33-year-old Apple Valley resident Nicole W.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his major injuries.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The investigation remains ongoing.
