[09-30-2024] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Injured After Police Chase Ends in Crash in Rosemont

A person was injured after a vehicle being chased by police crashed in the Rosemont area of Sacramento County on Monday morning, September 30, 2024.

The incident began just before 5:00 a.m. when several men robbed a marijuana business located in the 5700 block of Alder Avenue, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers responded to the robbery in progress, prompting a pursuit of the suspects’ vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle ultimately collided with another car, as reported by the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Emergency medical services were dispatched around 4:48 a.m. to the intersection of Manlove Road and South Watt Avenue.

The driver of the uninvolved vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening major injuries. Police have detained one suspect, while at least one other suspect remains at large.

The investigation is ongoing.
