According to the authorities, one person was killed in a freeway collision involving a minivan on 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday, October 3, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 3:00 a.m. at the southbound 101 Freeway and Spring Street.
At the scene, the victim’s death was confirmed by medical personnel.
The number of people who were hurt and the severity of their injuries were not immediately made public after the incident.
The crash forced the closure of three highway lanes for a good portion of the day.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
