[10-01-2022] San Diego County, CA - Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash on State Route-94According to the California Highway Patrol, two people were sent to the hospital after an early morning two-vehicle rollover crash on State Route 94 Saturday, October 1, 2022.

The collision occurred just before 2:00 a.m. on Eastbound SR-94 west of Interstate-15.

According to an officer with the California Highway Patrol, two cars were racing each other when one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle during the race.

According to the reports of the law enforcement officers, a sedan driven by an Infiniti veered off the right shoulder of the freeway and up an embankment, which caused the vehicle to roll back onto the freeway. It came to a halt in the center lanes of the highway.

According to the CHP, several people saw the accident and stopped to assist the people inside the vehicle in moving to the right shoulder of the freeway.

The Infiniti driver and the passenger were transported to the hospital after the collision. At this point, we cannot determine their wounds’ severity.

There is still no clear answer as to what caused the collision, and investigators are still trying to figure it out.
