[10-02-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Single-Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries in Santa Clarita

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a single-vehicle collision caused at least one person to be transported to the hospital in Santa Clarita Sunday, October 2, 2022.

The crash transpired at approximately 3:00 a.m. near McBean Parkway and Creekside Road intersection.

The vehicle, which was described as a white sedan with four doors, is said to have veered off the road and onto the sidewalk, colliding with roadside working equipment and a cage that covers water gauges before coming to a stop approximately 70 feet from the point of initial contact, according to a witness who was present at the scene.

It appears that the collision caused a water leak at the location where the car came to a stop.

It was unknown how many people were hurt in the collision, nor did anyone see the severity of their wounds at the time.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
