According to the authorities, a motorcyclist was severely injured after crashing into a vehicle near Highway 14 in Fresno Saturday night, October 8, 2022.
According to the Fresno Police, the collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Shaw Avenue near Highway 41.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle near Highway 41 resulted in the closure of a portion of Shaw Avenue.
According to the investigators, the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene of the accident and is helping investigators with their inquiries. It does not appear that alcohol played a role in this incident.
During the time that the investigation was taking place, motorists from Shaw could access the northbound lanes of Highway 41.
However, the on-ramp to southbound Highway 41 was temporarily closed, and drivers were instructed to use Effie Street as their turning point.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
