According to the local news, they identified Jabali J., 32, of San Leandro, died after crashing with a big rig on Interstate 5 on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

The mishap happened around 4:28 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Lebec Service Road.

According to authorities, Jacks was riding the Harley Davidson when he collided with the back of a semi-truck.

Unfortunately, at 5:17 p.m., authorities declared Jacks had passed away at the scene.

The CHP said they are looking into whether intoxication played a part in the collision.

The passenger of the Harley Davidson was treated for severe injuries at the hospital.

An unidentified motorcycle rider died, and another suffered injuries after a collision involving a big rig in Lebec on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

The accident transpired around 4:28 p.m. on Interstate 5 northbound, close to Lebec Service Road.

The motorcycle had two riders. The Harley Davison’s driver passed away. According to CHP, the passenger had severe injuries and was flown to Kern Medical Center by helicopter.

The big rig’s driver was unharmed.

Alcohol nor drugs are being looked at if they were involved in the collision.

The cause of the collision is being looked into.
