What Should I Do After an Accident?

It can be challenging to think correctly following burn injuries. However, what you say and do at the accident site can substantially affect the outcome of your claim against the negligent party. You can safeguard the value of your personal injury claim by adhering to these guidelines:

  1. Call 911 immediately, particularly if you or a loved one have been injured. Officers of the law can conduct witness interviews and collect evidence for a report.
  2. Always be direct when communicating with authorities or your insurance provider, and avoid making assumptions.
  3. Do not confess guilt, not even to the police. Insurance companies may use such actions as evidence to deny victims’ claims.
  4. Obtain professional medical help immediately. Visit an emergency room or your primary care physician immediately. If injuries are addressed immediately, they may be treated less severely.
  5. Gather all documents associated with the incident, including a copy of the police report, medical bills, the other driver’s contact information, and a plan for treating your injuries.
  6. Contact the relevant authorities to receive a copy of the police report.
  7. You may also utilize our online form. Your request will be processed as soon as we can access the report.
