According to the California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle collision involving a possible wrong-way driver resulted in injuries along Interstate 5 in Mettler Saturday afternoon, October 15, 2022.
According to CHP, the collision transpired just before 4:00 p.m. at the junction of Interstate 5 and Highway 166, about a mile south of I-5 southbound.
It was unclear how many people may have been injured immediately after the incident.
At least two vehicles were involved, and one of them came to a stop in a field after being involved in the collision.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing. There are no other details available.
