[10-18-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two People Killed Following Multi-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Collision in Pasadena

Two people were killed after a multi-vehicle hit-and-run collision in Pasadena on Wednesday night, October 18, 2023.

According to the Pasadena Police Department, the incident occurred near the intersection of North Raymond Avenue and East Penn Street at around 9:17 p.m.

A Lincoln Navigator overtook a vehicle and drove through a stop sign at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Nissan Versa, causing a chain reaction and sending the Lincoln into a pickup truck.

The Nissan driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the female passenger was transported to a hospital, where she later died. The two male occupants of the Lincoln fled the scene on foot. It is unclear if people were in the pickup.

The victims’ identities are being withheld until their next of kin is notified. An investigation is being conducted to locate the hit-and-run driver and his passenger.
