A 65-year-old man was seriously injured after getting attacked in a Minnesota Walmart parking lot on October 27, 2021.
The incident started as a road rage incident after the suspect accused the victim of cutting him off on I-35, near County Road 70.
The suspect then continued to follow the victim into a Walmart parking and towards the front of the store. The suspect then verbally harassed the victim with foul language and threatened to beat them.
The 65-year-old man was then physically assaulted by the suspect and sustained serious injuries from the incident. He suffered a broken leg and required hospitalization.
Officers then arrested the suspect in Lancaster on December 23, 2021. He was identified as 60-year-old David Gene B. he was charged with third-degree assault. The charge carries a maximum sentence of five years and a fine of up to $10,000.
