[10-29-2023] Contra Costa County, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision Reported During Sideshow in Antioch

A two-vehicle collision was reported during a sideshow in Antioch early Sunday morning, October 29, 2023.

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District initially responded to reports of a brush fire along Deer Valley Road and Lone Tree Way just past 12:00 a.m. when responders found a sideshow.

Reports indicated that the crowd was setting off fireworks while cars were performing stunts at the intersection, and just before police arrived at the scene, two vehicles collided with each other.

Officials did not indicate the state and condition of the involved drivers or if any other bystanders were injured during the collision.
