[11-01-2022] Fresno County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collisions Resulting to Two Injuries in FresnoTwo people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle SUV collided in Fresno on Tuesday night, November 1, 2022.

The crash transpired around 9 p.m. on Tulare Street and Chestnut Avenue.

According to the reports, the two vehicles did not come to a complete stop before entering the intersection, where there was a power outage.

The two cars kept moving through the intersection and collided, with one of them ending up in the front yard of a house. Then, they took the car’s passengers to the hospital. Passengers reported no injuries in the other vehicle.

Officials claim that the blackout, which has been busy today with power outages across the city, ultimately led to the accident.

It is unknown if the outages are connected to the weather.

The collision is being looked into further by police.
