[11-02-2022] Modesto Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Claribel RoadAccording to the California Highway Patrol, a Modesto man died in a two-vehicle collision after another driver’s disregard for a red light on Claribel Road Wednesday night, November 2, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 9:45 p.m. west on Claribel to southbound Coffee Road.

Oakdale resident and 52-year-old Paul R. was waiting at a red light in the left turn lane to southbound Coffee Road as he drove a Toyota SUV west on Claribel.

Then, for some reason, Ryun is said to have gone through the intersection while the light was red, causing his Toyota to crash into another car, a Mercury.

According to the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office, Nolen P., 53, of Modesto, was driving the Mercury when it crashed. Praytor was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ryun suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Doctors Medical Center.

The cause of the accident is unknown and is not thought to be related to drugs or alcohol.
