According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian man was struck and killed after being hit by a vehicle while walking along Pearblossom Highway in Llano Thursday morning, November 3, 2022.
The fatal collision occurred at about 6:40 a.m. on Pearblossom Highway, east of Longview Road.
The man, whose identity has not been released pending notification of his family, was reportedly on foot in the area of Pearblossom Highway when he was hit.
Officials say a 56-year-old woman from Palmdale was driving a Honda Odyssey that hit a pedestrian.
According to reports, the man’s injuries from the crash ultimately proved fatal.
We don’t know what triggered the crash, but we’re looking into it. Officials also stated that they are still looking into whether or not drugs or alcohol played a role.
