[11-11-2022] One Killed, Two Injured After Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash in Garden GroveA multi-vehicle crash involving a burning Tesla killed one driver and injured two others in Garden Grove early Friday morning, November 11, 2022.

According to authorities, the fatal collision occurred around 1:00 a.m. at Magnolia Street and Garden Grove Boulevard.

As soon as police arrived, they discovered the gray Tesla sedan fully engulfed in flames.

A police officer and two good samaritans rescued the driver from the burning car, and he was taken to a hospital in a critical but stable condition.

It was confirmed that the Tesla passenger had died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a second Lexus driver who was involved was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.

An involved Nissan driver described seeing a silver or white object that hit him straight up, followed by an airbag in the chest.

Authorities state that the Tesla driver is reportedly suspected of speeding and DUI. He is currently charged with DUI and vehicular homicide.

The collision left a significant amount of debris behind, and this caused the intersection to be closed for several hours.

The cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
