[11-12-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Dead, Three Injured in a Two-Vehicle Crash in Palmdale

The California Highway Patrol reported that one individual was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Palmdale on Saturday evening, November 12, 2022.

According to CHP Officer Edgar Figueroa, the crash occurred at 6:56 p.m. at the intersection of East Avenue O. and 40th Street East.

Initial reports stated that one of the vehicles involved in the crash was a black Toyota and that the collision may have been head-on. Figueroa could not corroborate the reports, though.

The CHP Official said at least one of the cars had two persons trapped inside.

According to a dispatcher at the 911 Center of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, three people were hurt in the collision. He was unaware of the number of people trapped in the vehicles.

For the clean-up and investigation, 40th Street East’s north and southbound lanes were shut down.

The cause of the collision remained unclear as the investigation continued.
