[11-16-2022] Stanislaus County, CA – Woman Found Dead After Suspected Hit-And-Run in Modesto

A woman was found dead after allegedly being struck while sleeping along Yosemite Boulevard Wednesday morning, November 16, 2022.

Authorities reportedly found the victim around 6:30 a.m. west of the Modesto Gospel Mission.

According to the police, it appears that the victim was sleeping in the dirt lot when she was struck by a vehicle, and it happened sometime overnight.

There was no other information available about the woman.

Investigators are looking into the accident as a hit-and-run.
