One pedestrian was fatally struck during a hit-and-run collision on State Route 137 early Thursday morning, November 17, 2022.
According to authorities, the violent crash occurred around 5:00 a.m. close to Soults Drive.
Reports state that witnesses heard a loud crash and believed two vehicles were involved initially, but they soon realized a pedestrian was struck by a car.
Responders immediately transported the victim to a hospital after suffering from critical wounds.
Police officials stated that the driver who fled the scene was traveling west in a maroon or dark-colored sedan.
