One person was killed following a deadly collision involving four jet skis under the Coronado Bridge on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2021.
According to the initial reports from the San Diego Harbor Police Department, the crash occurred at around 12:30 p.m. under the Coronado Bridge in the San Diego Bay.
Four jet skis were involved in the collision. How the accident occurred, and the reason it happened has not been established.
First responders later arrived at the scene and attempted to perform CPR on one man after pulling him out from the water and setting him onto a nearby dock.
Unfortunately, despite the life-saving measures performed by the paramedics, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the other people involved in the four-way crash were rushed to a nearby area hospital for treatment. It’s unclear how many people were injured and what their condition is now.
The case is currently under further investigation. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
