Authorities said two people were injured in a reportedly DUI collision in San Mateo on early Monday morning, November 21, 2022.
According to the San Mateo Police Department, the crash occurred at around 12:20 a.m. on El Camino Real, close to 5th Avenue.
The victims were transported to a trauma center for sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Details on their identities and conditions were not released.
According to authorities, the suspect, an 18-year-old male resident of San Mateo, was taken into custody on felony charges.
As the investigation continued, anyone with information was urged to call the San Mateo police.
