[12-01-2022] Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Big Rig in Boyle HeightsA pedestrian was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, on Thursday morning, December 01, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal crash occurred at 3:58 a.m. at Mission Road on the southbound Interstate 5 on-ramp.

There were no further details on the crash released by the authorities, but the victim was pronounced dead at the site by the LAFD officers.

The authorities issued a Sigalert for the freeway on-ramp as they investigated the deadly collision.

The alert was canceled by 6:22 a.m.
