[12-03-2023] Madera County, CA – Woman Killed Following Hit-and-Run Collision Along Highway 145

A woman was killed following a hit-and-run collision in Madera County early Sunday morning, December 3, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened past 2:00 a.m. along Highway 145 near Avenue 12.

The woman was reportedly struck by a driver who veered onto the highway for unknown reasons. She was left to succumb to her own injuries at the scene.

The body of the victim was found north of Avenue 12 by another driver who was passing by and contacted 9-1-1.
