[12-04-2022] Three People Injured After Vehicle Struck Patrol Car in Crenshaw AreaThree people, including two police officers, were injured when a vehicle struck them in the Crenshaw area, Los Angeles, on Sunday afternoon, December 4, 2022.

Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. in the 3900 block of Hillcrest Drive.

Rescuers had to rescue a person trapped inside a vehicle. It is unknown if it was one of the injured police officers.

The officers were transported to the hospital for treatment after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no indication of whether the third individual sent to the hospital was a suspect.

The severity of their injuries was also unknown.

Meanwhile, the suspect was taken into custody for assault and possibly hit-and-run charges.
