Authorities said two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle in Novato on Monday evening, December 05, 2022.
According to the Novato Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. near the De Long Avenue and Redwood Boulevard intersection.
The car was reportedly traveling west on De Long when it lost control before turning into Redwood in the northbound traffic and hit the pedestrians.
Both victims were transported to hospitals for sustaining moderate to major injuries. No further details on their current condition were released.
The driver assisted with the investigation, and the crash doesn’t appear to have been caused by either intoxication or speed.
The crash resulted in the closure of the road for roughly an hour while the investigation was conducted.
