Authorities said two elderly people were hospitalized following a solo car crash in San Pedro, Los Angeles, on Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at 1500 S. Gaffey Street.
Responders arrived at the scene and extricated the 90 years old man and woman after getting trapped in their vehicle. Both of them were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
There was reportedly no sign that anyone else was in the car during the collision, but it remains unclear which of them had been driving.
The investigation into the exact cause of the crash was ongoing.
