[12-20-2022] One Person Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision near Los AlamosAuthorities said one person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision near Los Alamos in Santa Barbara County on Tuesday evening, December 20, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 8:00 p.m. in the highway’s southbound lanes, roughly a quarter mile south of Alisos Canyon Road.

Responders from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department arrived at the scene and found one of the cars on its roof on the side of the road and the other in the center median.

One person was injured and transported to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria by AMR ambulance. There was no information about their identity or condition, nor with the other driver.

The CHP was looking into the cause of the collision.
