[12-23-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash After High-Speed Pursuit Caused Possible Injuries

Authorities reported possible injuries following a two-vehicle collision caused by a high-speed pursuit in Los Angeles on Friday morning, December 23, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred after 3:00 a.m. at the Crenshaw and West Adams Boulevard intersection in the Jefferson Park neighborhood.

The suspect vehicle, a silver Nissan Altima that was also wanted for assault, was in a high-speed pursuit from the police that started in North Hollywood.

The pursuit ended in Jefferson Park, moving south through the freeways and roadways in Downtown Los Angeles until the vehicle slammed into an SUV.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and examined both drivers for possible injuries. No details on the extent of injuries and their current condition were released.

The suspect driver was arrested by the LAPD officers while the investigation by the North Hollywood division and the South Traffic officers continued.
