A woman died after a hit-and-run collision on Tuesday night on Bullard Avenue.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. between Bullard and Angus Avenues.
The officers responded and discovered a seriously hurt woman trapped inside a car. She had struck the tree on the side of the road.
They took the woman to the nearest hospital. Her current condition was unknown.
According to the police, a dark-colored sedan was involved in the scene.
Investigators claim that at some point, the suspect’s car struck the woman’s car, causing it to crash into the tree.
Following the collision, authorities claimed that the allegedly careless driver exited his car and began to run toward the intersection of Bullard Avenue and Fresno Street.
The suspect, a grown man dressed in green shorts, is still being sought by police.
