A rider was lying motionless on the road after a motor vehicle accident on Westbound Bear Valley Road in Victorville on August 12, Friday morning.
The accident occurred around 11 a.m., close to the entrance of the Food 4 Less shopping center.
Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered they had taken the rider to the hospital, but no new information on his condition was available.
During the investigation, the male driver of a silver Fiat with damage to the right rear passenger side stayed at the scene.
Police confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the collision.
The cause of the collision was still being looked into as of 1:00 p.m.
Once available, the authorities will update new pieces of information.
