Single-Vehicle Crash Statistics
In California, more than a thousand people die yearly in accidents involving just one car. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has kept track of 62% of California fatal car accidents involving only one car. Drivers in California should always be on the lookout for possible dangers, as the roads in the state can be very dangerous.
A lot of different things can cause single-car wrecks. If you drive carelessly on a slippery road, your car could run away or go off the road. It’s possible that a big piece of debris, like a branch or something else, washed up on the shore. This could make driving even more dangerous.
Even if the other driver was careless, you might not be able to get compensation if you were in an accident with just one car. This depends on how your insurance policy is set up.

Driving carelessly is wrong, regardless of whether it hurts other people. You might be able to file a claim against the driver’s insurance company whose carelessness killed you.
It can be hard to talk about losses and hurts from the past in a deposition or trial. People’s mental health is damaged by things that are still in court.
After a car accident, you need to move quickly to take legal action against the careless person. When more than one person dies because of someone else’s carelessness, the person or people responsible must face the consequences.
