[10-02-2022] Orange County, CA – Unidentified Person Killed in Crash on 5 Freeway in Santa Ana

The authorities have identified the person who struck a person on 55 Freeway last October 2, 2022 the crash occurred around 2:10 a.m.

They have identified 21-year-old Dylan Erric James Robinson as the person who struck the victim 22-year-old Reinne L. of Anaheim.

Dylan Erric James Robinson was intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and DUI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08% or more causing injury,

The complaint alleges the driver had a blood-alcohol content of .17, more than twice the legal limit of .08.

According to the authorities, at least one person was killed on the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana Sunday, October 2, 2022.

The fatal collision transpired just before 2:10 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway at State Route 55.

During the ongoing investigation, a SigAlert has been activated for the southbound lanes of State Route 55 as well as the carpool lane of the 5 Freeway.

The total number of people injured in the collision and the car’s make, model, and year were not immediately made public.
