[10-10-2022] One Officer Injured in Motorcycle Accident on 105 FreewayOne officer riding a motorcycle was injured in a collision on the 105 Freeway in Lynwood on Monday morning, October 10, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident log records that the collision was reported shortly before 6:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes close to Long Beach Boulevard.

A damaged Inglewood Police Department motorcycle and a red sedan with a cracked windshield were both visible on the footage.

The officer complained of pain and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment following the collision.

The authorities blocked off the carpool and the number one lane while they investigated the accident.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
