The numerous attractions in the Golden State of California draw tourists and new residents. Although this boosts the state’s economy, it hurts its roads, which are densely populated and contribute to a sizable number of car accidents each year.
Approximately 4,258 people are expected to have died in car accidents in California in 2021, up from 3,847 in 2020, making it the state’s second year with a higher number of traffic fatalities.
Human error, such as texting while driving, intoxication, or speeding, is to blame for most auto accidents. However, many other things, like the weather, how the roads are built, and car problems, can also play a part in an accident.
Car accidents can have catastrophic effects on those involved, regardless of the cause. Car accidents can take a financial toll in addition to their physical and psychological effects because of the expense of medical care and vehicle repairs. As a result, it’s crucial to drive carefully and always abide by the rules of the road. By taking these precautions, we can contribute to a decrease in the annual number of car accidents.
