[10-19-2022] 34-Year-Old Perris Pedestrian Woman Dead in Hit-And-Run Collision on Highway 74According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Honda Accord struck a pedestrian and left her dead at the scene after a hit-and-run collision southwest of Perris Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m. at the Ethanac Road intersection from the north edge of the highway heading south.

The Perris woman, 34, was walking across Highway 74 when she was hit and thrown onto the windshield of a westbound Honda Accord.

The CHP said that the male driver of the Accord fled the scene, heading west to an unspecified location.

The front bumper and windshield of the Accord, which the CHP estimated to be from the 2008-2012 model year, were damaged beyond repair.

Calling CHP at 951-506-2000 is encouraged for anyone with information about the collision.
