One person was struck and died after a suspect was apprehended on suspicion of a hit-and-run collision in Fontana on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
The collision transpired around 7:12 p.m. at the intersection of Merrill and Wheeler Avenues.
When he was struck by a white minivan traveling eastbound on Merrill, the pedestrian was crossing the street from north to south. The minivan’s driver immediately fled the scene without making a stop.
