[11-05-2022] Overturned Semi-Truck Led to Multi-Vehicle Collision in La VerneA semi-truck containing gravel caused a multi-vehicle collision in La Verne early Saturday morning, November 5, 2022.

According to reports, the crash occurred around 4:53 a.m. on the 210 Freeway at Foothill Boulevard.

Authorities responded to the scene and found a semi-truck carrying another truck with gravel had overturned and one vehicle going the wrong way.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a semi parked next to a gravel truck that had overturned, spewing dirt and rocks onto all lanes.

A Honda Civic traveling westbound struck some gravel and skidded out of control, eventually landing on the highway’s right shoulder facing the wrong way.

Firefighters on the scene declared that the driver was not injured.

At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown.
