[11-18-2022] San Diego County, CA – Woman Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision in Chula Vista

A woman was injured following a two-vehicle collision in Chula Vista on early Friday morning, November 18, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:49 a.m. on southbound Interstate 805, north of Orange Avenue.

Two vehicles reportedly collided, flipping the woman’s SUV onto its roof. Nothing further has been released regarding the circumstances.

Responders from the Chula Vista Fire Department and Chula Vista Police transported the female driver to the hospital with a head injury.

Her two female passengers were unharmed. There is no available information on the second vehicle.

The cause of the crash is being looked into by the CHP. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role.
