[11-20-2022] Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle in BeaumontAuthorities said a pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Beaumont on Sunday evening, November 20, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 6:46 p.m. on Oak Valley Parkway on Christopher Columbus Transcontinental (10) Highway.

The officers reported that the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The victim was identified by the Riverside County coroner’s office as Juan E., a 78-year-old resident of Beaumont.

There was no information regarding the driver that hit the pedestrian, including the identification and details of the vehicle.

According to the CHP, the collision was turned over to Cal Fire Riverside as the investigation continued.
