[11-27-2022] San Diego County, CA – 32-Year-Old Injured by DUI Driver in San Diego

A 32-year-old man was injured when his car was hit by a DUI driver in San Diego on Sunday morning, November 27, 2022.

According to local authorities, the crash occurred around 1:53 a.m. in the 2700 block of Kurtz Street in the Midway District.

The man was asleep in the back seat of his parked vehicle when a 36-year-old woman traveling at high speed on her Dodge Magnum drifted to the right and rear-ended his car.

The female driver sped off but was quickly tracked down and taken into custody for DUI.

The victim sustained an open fracture to his leg and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
