One person was injured after a vehicle driven by a DUI driver struck a traffic light pole in San Luis Obispo on Sunday morning, November 27, 2022.
According to the San Luis Obispo Police, the crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. at the San Luis Drive and Johnson Avenue intersection.
22-year-old driver Marina P. was allegedly drunk driving when she hit a traffic light pole and injured her single passenger.
The injured person was transported to a nearby hospital for sustaining minor injuries. No other details on their identity and condition were released.
The driver was arrested when the patrol officers responded to the scene. She was detained in the San Luis Obispo County Jail on two felony DUI charges.
