[09-13-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Killed After Collision With Big Rig in Lancaster

According to the authorities, a collision between a large truck and a pedestrian resulted in the death of the pedestrian in Lancaster Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:48 a.m. at the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway and South Avenue J.

They discovered the victim unconscious on the highway. At the scene, the medical examiner pronounced the pedestrian to be deceased.

Due to the collision, the third northbound freeway lane was closed for an undetermined amount of time while the California Highway Patrol investigated the crash.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
