Single-Vehicle Collision Statistics
More than 60% of all fatal auto accidents involve just one vehicle, a 9.4% increase from 2019 to 2020. Injuries affected 43% of the total number of victims. Typically, the culprits are unsafe passenger behavior, excessive speeding, and drinking.
Accidents happen when two or more cars crash or a driver hits something or someone else. In any case, the risk of suffering severe injuries or passing away increases when a car accident occurs.
Without a motor vehicle, it is impossible to navigate the United States, which offers an unmatched level of convenience. Five people are reportedly hurt in car accidents every minute, and one person dies in them every fifteen minutes.
By using a seatbelt, paying attention while driving, and never getting distracted, you can lessen your risk of being involved in an accident. Despite all safety measures, fatal car accidents can still happen.
