[04-07-2023] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed, Two More Injured After Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Pine Valley

A multi-vehicle collision killed one person and injured two more near Pine Valley, San Diego County, on a Friday afternoon, April 07, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. along Buckman Springs Road.

A 35-year-old driver crossed into another lane and collided with another vehicle holding a 62-year-old driver and a passenger.

A 35-year-old motorcycle rider also got caught up in the crash and sustained major injuries.

The 62-year-old driver died at the scene while the passenger and the motorist were transported to the hospital.

The authorities dismissed the possibility of alcohol or drug use with the crash.
