The Santa Barbara Country Fire Department reported that the collision occurred around 1:38 p.m. along the side of Highway 154.

The car went 100 feet downhill, and its two female occupants were rescued using a rope system.

The two females sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

The authorities did not release any further details about the crash.
