[07-06-2023] At Least Two People Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in Newhall
At least two people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Newhall, Los Angeles County, early Thursday morning, July 06, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:45 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the I-5 freeway, near the 14 Freeway interchange and Calgrove Boulevard.

A pick-up truck slammed into the center divider and blocked two lanes. Reports say two more vehicles were involved, including one big rig.

Two people sustained moderate injuries and were taken to a local hospital. It is still unknown how many people were involved.

Further details on the collision have yet to be released by the authorities.
