[07-21-2023] 1 Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision on 33rd Street, Suspect At LargeA pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision in Historic South Central Los Angeles on Friday evening, July 21, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred on Hill and 33rd Street at around 10:23 p.m.

An investigation is underway to determine what events led up to the crash. The suspect reportedly fled the scene heading northbound on Hill Street.

The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No information was released regarding the identity of the deceased.

The suspect is still at large. Anyone with information about this hit-and-run incident is encouraged to call the authorities.
