[11-16-2023] San Diego County, CA – 32-Year-Old Filipino Woman Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Car in Mountain View

A 32-year-old Filipino woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Mountain View, San Diego, on Friday evening, November 10, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:11 p.m. at  Imperial Avenue and 45th Street.

Reports say the victim held onto the hood of a van after a confrontation near a house on Jamul Ave. The suspects allegedly bumped the victim with their van, causing her to grab the hood. As they drove away, she was thrown from the van to the ground.

Upon arrival, police found the Filipino woman on the road, suffering from severe injuries. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead the following day. At this time, the police are not releasing her name.

Police arrested a 25-year-old identified as Brooklyn B. and a 27-year-old named Cory S. on charges of murder. The investigation into the incident continues as authorities gather additional information.
