[12-03-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – 70-Year-Old Woman Killed After DUI Hit-And-Run Crash in Country Club

A 70-year-old woman was killed after a DUI hit-and-run crash in Country Club, Stockton, on Sunday night, December 3, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:25 p.m. on Princeton Avenue and Delaware Avenue.

A 34-year-old male driver of the 2006 Infiniti was driving impaired by drugs or alcohol when he ran the stop sign at the avenue and collided with the woman in a 1990 GMC.

Infiniti driver tried to flee the scene, but the employees of Michael’s Pizza stepped in and held him until police arrived.

A felony DUI and hit-and-run charge were filed against the driver, who was later arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

Reports say the crash happened after a sideshow based on the skid marks left with pieces of tires scattered at the intersection where it took place.
